GERMAN FREIGHT FORWARDERS’ STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS (ADSp)
We work solely on the basis of the German Freight Forwarders’ Standard Terms and Conditions 2017 (Allgemeine Deutsche Spediteurbedingungen 2017 – ADSp 2017) and – in the event that these are not valid for the provision of logistics services – the General Terms and Conditions of Logistics Service Providers (Logistik-AGB), last updated in July 2019.
Please note: Section 23 of the ADSp 2017 relating to the highest liability amount payable for damage to goods (under Section 431 of the German Commercial Code (Handelsgesetzbuch, HGB)) differs from the law in that it limits liability for multimodal transportation involving maritime transport and unknown loss locations to 2 SDR/kg or otherwise the standard liability amount of 8.22 SDR/kg plus 1.25 million euros per loss event and 2.5 million euros per claim, but no less than 2 SDR/kg.
